Dear Orthopaedic Colleagues from the BOS & from across India,
On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Bombay Orthopaedic Society, it gives me
great pleasure to WELCOME you to
WIROC 2025, the NEVER BEFORE WIROC. Dr Parag Lad and Dr Chasanal Rathod have put
together a thoughtfully curated program
that offers a rich academic experience while also creating meaningful opportunities
for interaction, inspiration and
growth.
Over the next three days, you will engage with renowned faculty through cutting-edge
lectures, focused symposia,
debates, and case-based discussions. We have made a conscious effort to ensure that
every session is relevant,
evidence-based, and applicable to day-to-day clinical practice.
New rapid-learning modules such as the IPCA Master Classes, the Zydus Arthoplasty
Boot camp and the IPCA Orthopaedic
Boot Camp have been designed to deliver high-impact, practical knowledge and
skill building. The Hands-on Saw Bone
Shoulder Arthroplasty Workshop offers delegates an opportunity to gain
confidence and practical insights that translate
directly to clinical practice.
WIROC 2025 also hosts a Tech Corridor that will showcase the latest
advancements in surgical technology though the
Precision Robot Studio, the Solco Mixed Reality Immersion Zone, and
the UNS Artificial Intelligence Lab giving delegates
firsthand exposure to innovations shaping the future of orthopaedics.
Beyond academics, WIROC has always been a celebration of camaraderie- an opportunity
to reconnect with colleagues and
friends in a relaxed and festive environment. Our thoughtfully crafted social
program includes a Drone and Fireworks
Music Spectacular on Dec 26, where a fleet of illuminated drones will paint
the night sky with dynamic formations,
synchronized perfectly to a powerful musical score, followed by a dazzling fireworks
display that adds brilliance and
grandeur. On Dec 27, the legendary Shankar Mahadevan promises to leave our
delegates spellbound with his soulful voice,
dynamic stage presence, and iconic repertoire. Join us for a musical experience that
celebrates the spirit of WIROC
2025.
The CORONA Khau Galli will bring the flavours, aromas, and energy of the
iconic street foods of Mumbai to the patios of
Westin. Delegates can savour spicy chaats, crisp dosas, mouth- watering pakoras,
steaming hot momos, frankies and
sandwiches. Refreshing coolers and golas will help douse the fires of this culinary
feast.
